The NBC Connecticut meteorologists are forecasting a mix of sun and clouds for a slightly warmer Tuesday morning.
Temperatures were below freezing throughout the night, so untreated roads were expected to be icy coming into Tuesday morning.
However, the Tuesday morning winds should help clear up the roads after some snowfall on Monday night. Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 30s inland and low 40s along the shoreline.
A look at the rest of the week includes some more January thaw. Thursday temperatures will be in the upper 40s with rain and mix for the evening.
Friday could see temperatures in the 50s with some rain, but temperatures will drop again on Saturday with more rain in the morning.
NBC Connecticut meteorologists are watching for the possibility of snow next Wednesday.
