Five workers were inside the building when the fire broke out. All of them were able to get out of the burning building safely, fire officials said.
A restaurant and an apartment building next door were evacuated as a precaution but firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to other structures.
Fire officials said there were propane tanks in the building, but it is too early to determine what caused the fire.
