Sears and Sears Auto Center used to occupy a large area of space in West Hartford's Corbins Corner. The space is now the home of The Corbin Collection, a retail property that includes new homes of REI, Saks OFF 5TH and Shake Shack. The property is owned by Seritage.
In a statement, Mary Rottler, Executive Vice President of Leasing and Operations at Seritage Growth Properties, said, “We are excited to welcome the diverse mix of leading retailers and restaurants that will be joining The Corbin Collection this spring including REI, Saks OFF Fifth, Buy Buy Baby, Cost Plus World Market, Shake Shack and more. This revitalized property is ideally situated in a strong retail coordinator that attracts shoppers from the surrounding counties. The Corbin Collection is an excellent example of our ability transform formerly single-tenant buildings into multi-tenant retail destinations that are relevant to the communities they serve."
More retailers and tenants are expected to be named in the coming months. There are retail spaces currently available ranging from 2,000 to 40,000 square feet for "near-term occupancy." For details on leasing visit: Seritage Properties
