Landlord Causes a Scene Over Hat Policy: Cops

The beer and hat set a landlord over the edge, police said.

The landlord of a Norwalk strip club was arrested after causing a raucous over his hat and the speed at which his beer was poured early Sunday morning.

It’s policy at Office Café for men not to where hats, but Christopher LaRose, 39, took offense when club managers told his to take his off, police said.

Even with the hat, he was allowed inside, he soon became angry when he saw someone else with a hat, according to the Stamford Advocate.

His anger grew because he felt the bartender was slow at serving beer, police told the Advocate.

LaRose threw a glass at the bartender, swung a pipe at a patron who tried to calm him down and smashed two windows, according to police.

LaRose was charged with threatening, criminal mischief and breach of peace. He posted $5,000 bail and is due in court next Monday.
