Who Are You Eating? A Preview of the Golden Globes Menu

Take a peek at what's on the menu for the Golden Globe Awards dinner.

As the stars sit down at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 17, a feast awaits. The Beverly Hilton gave a sneak peek of the menu.

Champagne, of course, to toast the winners. Special bottles of Moet Champagne are on ice for the dinner... 500 magnums, to be exact.

Executive Chef Suki Sugiura and a staff of 100 will be working from 6am to after midnight. "It's the busiest day of the year," he said. This will be Suguira's fifth Golden Globes dinner and the menu focuses on California fare prepared light.

The salad features mozzarella wrapped in grilled eggplant atop tomato and arugula and will be dressed with olive oil made in the Golden State.
Although vegetarian and vegan options will be available, the standard main course is a surf and turf spectacular featuring sauteed sea bass with truffle endive fritto and braised beef short ribs with artichoke sweet pepper ragout.

May I have the envelope please? All the stars will get their own with the white chocolate confection filled with mousseline of lime and citrus cake.
