No Injuries Reported in Orange Garage Fire

    Orange Volunteer Fire Department

    Firefighters in Orange knocked down a garage fire before it spread to a house Sunday afternoon.

    The Orange Volunteer Fire department said they were called to 847 Glenbrook Road around 4:26 p.m. Sunday for a reported structure fire. When firefighters arrived on scene they found heavy fire in the garage area of the home.

    The Woodbridge Fire department was called in mutual aid to provide tankers and Derby provided town coverage. The fire was quickly knocked down.

    No injuries were reported and there was no serious damage to the adjacent home. The Orange Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause.
