Pumpkin Delight Elementary School in Milford was locked down on Wednesday afternoon after students in reported seeing someone they did not know in a bathroom with a firearm.

Police searched the school and lifted the lockdown after not finding anything suspicious. Students had been released early and the lockdown went into effect while an afterschool program was happening.

After reviewing security tapes, police determined the person was a construction worker who was authorized to be in the building, according to Principal Steve Madancy.
