Fire Reported at Aqua Turf

Fire was reported at the Aqua Turf in Plantsville on Friday morning.
According to Southington police, fire crews responded to the banquet facility at 556 Mulberry Street around 9 a.m. for fire in the walls.
It was not clear how big the fire was.
The Connecticut Chapter of The American College Of Physicians was meeting at Aqua Turf on Friday morning and issued a news release saying the site was briefly evacuated. They plan to resume meeting at the site.
