Mom Stabs Son for Not Taking Out Trash: Cops

The victim said he told his mother he'd take the trash out in the morning.

    Jacqueline Morris has been arrested, accused of stabbing her teenage son over a delay in taking out trash.

    A Bridgeport mother has been arrested, accused of stabbing her son in the back over chores.

    Police responded to a home on Jackson Avenue to investigate an assault and the teenage victim said he had been at his mother’s house  on Wood Avenue earlier and the dispute happened after she asked him to take out the garbage.

    He said he would take the garbage out in the morning, they got into a dispute and Jacqueline Morris, 34, allegedly stabbed her teenage son in the back, police said.

    He then walked back to his relative’s house on Jackson Avenue and police were notified.   

    Morris was charged with second-degree assault, risk of injury to a minor and disorderly conduct.

    Her bond was set at $10,000.
