Victim Beaten With Gun During Bridgeport Home Invasion

Police are investigating a reported home invasion in Bridgeport.

Police are investigating a reported home invasion in Bridgeport late Friday and said one of the victims was bleeding from the face and head after being hit with a gun.

The home invasion happened in the 400 block of Berkshire Avenue and the victim told investigators he didn’t know why his apartment was targeted.

The intruders stole his rent money, car keys and necklace and fired one shot as they fled, he told authorities.

The intruders were all men in their 20s and were wearing hooded sweatshirts.

Detectives are investigating.
