An 82-year-old man is in the hospital with serious head and leg injuries after a driver hit him and fled.
The man, a New Canaan resident, had been riding his bike on Oenoke Ridge Road when he was struck.
A woman who was jogging by around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, saw him and called 911 to report the incident, according to police.
The man was wearing a helmet and still sustained serious head injuries, He also has leg injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Debris from the vehicle was left at the scene and police are looking for the driver of a 2003 to 2006 Audi, Cabriolet, convertible, possibly a black one with damage to the right front.
Accident investigators were called out and are investigating. Police provided photos of an Audi that looks similar to the one they are seeking.
